We are currently recruiting for a Manager, Information Systems.

Information Systems Infrastructure

Plan, establish, and manage a coordinated information systems infrastructure to support staff in all aspects of administration and care delivery.

Participate in long-range strategic planning for information systems.

Ensures the consistency and maintainability of existing applications by creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards/procedures for implementing technical solutions.

Maintain a detailed hardware inventory and develop and implement hardware replacement and disposal schedule.

Create departmental budget to support IT infrastructure.

Create and maintain Information Technology policies and procedures

Administer the Agency’s software licensing and software media storage.

Establish and maintain vendor relationships and maintenance agreements.

Direct and manage the Information Systems Infrastructure and Support staff.

Systems and Network Administration

Oversee the installation of operating systems software, patches and upgrades.

Report on all hardware and networking issues discovered by the Systems/Network Administrator

Ensure backups and a restore strategy is in place for all potential disasters.

Reports to Senior Management the status of virus, malware, or other potential threats to hardware and network.

Monitor the operations of LAN hardware and software and determine the implementation of the appropriate corrective action as needed.

Responsible for the ongoing support of the Agency’s telecommunication system; including landline, cellular, pager, voice mail, office cabling, and related technologies.

New Technology Adoption

Evaluate, recommend, plan, direct, and coordinate the adoption of new technology and/or systems

Work in consultative manner to discover best practices in the use of new technology

Provide project management over development of new technologies

Information Systems Support

Direct PC end-user training and support as needed including Information Technology on call availability.

Prepares reports on the number of support requests serviced/requested/completed by type


Requires the ability to relate to people of diverse backgrounds, cultures, races, sexual orientations and gender identities or expressions.

Responsible for maintaining confidentiality of all patient, client, proprietary, and protected information.

Employees are accountable for meeting performance standards of their departments. They participate in compliance audits and quality improvement plans.

Ensure compliance with agency Policies and Guidelines

Other specific duties as assigned.


B.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field required; Masters in Information Technology or Business Administration preferred.

Minimum 5 years of information system management experience.

A broad systems background in hardware, software, networking and telecommunications.

Strong project planning, problem solving and decision-making skills.

Strong communications, including the ability to express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Strong interpersonal skills.
