Work Schedule: 1:30pm-10pm
The mission of The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center is to eliminate cancer in Texas, the nation, and the world through outstanding programs that integrate patient care, research and prevention, and through education for undergraduate and graduate students, trainees, professionals, employees and the public.
Function: Performs patient and visitor screening.
Scope: Impacts department operations and institutional patient satisfaction programs.
Essential Job Functions
Acknowledges and greets patients and visitors and performs health screening. Documents screening. Provides information and directions.
Marginal Job Functions: Other duties as assigned.
Required: Two years of experience in customer service.
Preferred: Two years of experience answering multiple telephone lines, responding to customer inquiries or related experience.
Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred: Associate degree in Communications or related field. Bilingual in Spanish.
Must pass a pre-employment test as required and administered by Human Resources.
