The Financial Senior Analyst / Analyst will work cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales Strategy, Revenue Management, Operations, and Procurement teams to construct accurate P&Ls for innovation and line extension products. This role will be a steward to brand teams and a strong resource in helping them making effective financial decisions. Additionally, the Financial Senior Analyst / Analyst will support the Manager by contributing to projects and responsibilities for the Commercial Finance business.
Develop P&L projections for projects going through product innovation process (New Brands, Line Extensions, Renovations, and Package Changes)
Work directly with Marketing, Sales Strategy, Revenue Management, Operations, and Procurement to gather accurate inputs impacting P&L for proposed project
Understand financial impact of desired product components and provide recommendations on ways to improve margins and profitability
Leverage internal systems and external data to refine analysis and substantiate key decisions
Create presentations outlining project financial analysis and results for leadership review
Support Stage Gate Innovation Process
Work directly with project managers to ensure projects get completed accurately and on schedule
Provide commentary and analysis for financial presentation slides
Partner with project management team to streamline innovation process, remove bottlenecks, and improve efficiency
Provide support for Commercial Finance VP, Senior Director, Manager, and brand marketing teams
Strategic Planning, Case Rate Analysis, COGS Benchmarking, Competitive Analysis
Ad-hoc reporting, analysis, and project work as needed
B.S. in a business discipline, preferably Finance or Accounting. MBA or CPA preferred.
3+ years of Finance or data analytics preferably in alcohol beverage industry
Excellent communication skills required (both verbal and written)
Extremely organized and strong attention to detail
Proven analytical experience
Extensive use of Excel
Must be able sit and/or stand for long periods of time, and work on a computer for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. regularly.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
