Job Summary
We are seeking an individual to help assist our glaziers on commercial and residential jobs . In this role, you will be assisting glaziers with onsite installations. This may include keeping the worksite clean, helping load/unload work trucks, operating power tools, shop-work and cleanliness or other necessary tasks. The ideal candidate is a hard worker with the ability to meet the physical demands of the job, punctual, and must hold a valid drivers license. Construction/Carpentry experience recommended but not required!
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean work environment by picking up trash, excess building materials, or other potentially hazardous products
- Provide assistance to onsite glaziers
- Transport materials and equipment from one location to another
- Operate power tools and/or industrial equipment
- Take accurate measurements
- Other manual labor tasks as required by the foreman or supervisor
- Loading and Unloading trucks
Qualifications
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects, and standing for long periods
- Ability to adhere to all safety rules and regulations
- Knowledge of power tools is preferred
- Valid drivers license
- Ability to work in a team environment
