Position Overview:
The Senior Program Manager is a key role in our Engineering team which is responsible for working cross-functionally to build and manage complex development projects. In this role, you will work in conjunction with customer teams, product teams, development and engineering teams to successfully deliver HealthEdge products to our customers.
We are looking for a strong leader with proven management experience who can ensure alignment between the customer and HealthEdge teams and deliver the product on time with high quality. In addition, you will provide guidance to executive leadership on project timelines, budget, staffing, risks, etc. You will lead communication with the customer and ensure alignment of product vision and deliverable timelines. Experience working as a project manager implementing enterprise software applications for the healthcare industry is required.
Please note this is a remote position which will require 25% travel to customer sites across the US.
The Product:
Provider Data Management (“PDM”) is a next generation, cloud based, SAAS web application that is designed to be the single source of truth for enterprise provider data within health plans.
By leveraging modern PDM solutions, payers can significantly enhance operational efficiency. Streamlined processes and accurate data management lead to faster and more efficient operations which leads to an improved member and provider experience and satisfaction.
Your Impact:

Customer Interactions and Project lifecycle management:
-
Serve as a primary point of contact for customers throughout the implementation process.

Ensure comprehensive understanding and management of the entire implementation project lifecycle.

Facilitate effective communication and collaboration with customers to meet their expectations.

Coordinate the projects and their interdependencies.

Program Governance and Budget Management:
-
Define and establish robust program governance framework to ensure project alignment with organizational goals.

Manage program’s budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost controls.

Monitor overall project status, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met.

Manage the main program documentations such as the program initiation document.

Align the deliverables (outputs) to the program’s “outcome” with the aid of the business change manager

Risk Management and Mitigation:
-
Quickly identify and communicate potential risks to stakeholders.
-
Develop and recommend risk mitigation strategies and undertake corrective measures as necessary to keep the program on track.

Hands-On Leadership:
-
Demonstrate a hands-on approach to drive the success of the new product’s implementation.

Be proactive and persistent in addressing challenges and seizing opportunities for improvement.

Implementation process establishment:
-
Develop and refine implementation templates and process to streamline process and ensure consistent and efficient deployment.

Mentor and guide the team in adopting these templates as standard practices for future projects.
What You Bring:
-
Strong practical experience in project management, which was gained through managing large and complex projects.

8+ years in project management with progressively increasing scope and complexity
-
Proven experience as an implementation program manager, preferably with experience in deploying new products to market.

Strong background in customer interactions and implementation lifecycle management

Good knowledge and handling of project and program management methodology and techniques.

Good understanding of the wider objectives of the program.

Ability to work positively with a wide range of individuals involved in program management.

Strong leadership and management skills.

Good knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures; and

The ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems.

Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
