Pharmacy Tech Inpatient in Phoenix, AZ
We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Tech Inpatient to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. This is a 13-week renewable contract position that requires at least one year of Inpatient Pharmacy Tech experience. The successful candidate will work in our fast-paced, state-of-the-art inpatient pharmacy, providing high-quality medication dispensing services to our patients.
Responsibilities:

Assist pharmacists with dispensing medication to inpatients and outpatients

Maintain pharmacy inventory and order supplies as needed

Enter prescription orders into the pharmacy computer system

Compound and repackage medications

Answer phone calls from healthcare providers and patients
Requirements:

Active Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT)

At least one year of experience in an inpatient pharmacy setting

Strong knowledge of medical terminology, pharmaceuticals, and drug interactions

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
