Air Cost Control ("A2C"), a subsidiary of HEICO, a leading aviation electrical interconnect product distribution Company, is seeking a Staff Accountant that would be primarily responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:

Prepare adjusting journal entries and accruals during month-end closings.
Process customer credit applications, review credit profiles, and suggest credit limits to the Controller.
Review and process expense reimbursement reports.
Prepare monthly account reconciliations and follow up to clear reconciling items.
Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports for senior management.
Recommend and implement automation and other improvement initiatives to streamlining month-end, quarterly, and annual close processes.
Support Accounting team in preparing required schedules for internal and external auditors.
Perform special projects and request from management and operations.
Perform other job-related functions as assigned.

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university
1-2 years of experience in financial accounting (public and/or industry) required
Working towards a CPA certification.
Aviation/Aerospace experience helpful but not required
Fluency or working knowledge of the French language is a plus

Must have knowledge of, and able to apply, U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
Strong work ethic (willingness to work hard and long hours, when needed).
Strong Excel skills as well as general working knowledge of ERP reporting packages are a must.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated sense of urgency when completing assignments.
Must be self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to clearly express an opinion or interpretation of various analysis, schedules or statement and results.
