What you will do at Siemens Smart Infrastructure:
The person in this role will oversee and guide the regional spend productivity and business improvement performance for multiple Smart Infrastructure divisions and Countries associated with the Americas region. This objective is achieved in alignment and coordination with Smart Infrastructure Global Functional Excellence organizations and uses analytical and visualization methodologies to identify performance opportunities and/or gaps.
Act as Subject Matter Authority with regard to underlying global, regional and core transaction systems containing relevant performance data that must be leveraged to provide vital insights to accomplish the position objectives. Assist in strategic planning, and develop business specific executable action plans in agreement with key business partners. Support the development of core business performance plans with rationalized target setting. Collaborate with Global organizations, conduct routine reconciliation meetings and facilitate vital information gathering as needed. Prepare and conduct business performance reviews with Procurement and Finance Heads for the Divisions served together with analytical narrative statements, forecasts of results and potential improvement areas. Ensure controlled results related to KPI’s, and act as data steward over the quality of data that serves as input to results analysis. Devise sophisticated analytical models for mechanizing intelligent reporting processes administration, improving automation. Build architectural blueprints for crafting innovative predictive analysis. Implement regression models advancing the simulation of different business condition scenarios. Lead project teams for special studies; set clear objectives, delegate specific tasks / responsibilities, maximize team engagement and set defined key achievements. Deliver effective presentations and be able to clearly distill information to others.
Must possess 4 year BS degree; Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain or Statistics
3+ years business related experience in financial or operating performance environment
Proven ability to conduct high level performance and data analysis
SAP or Other Financial / Transactional systems familiarity
Proven MS Office Suite skills, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Ability to work across organizational boundaries
Strong written and verbal skills including preparation and delivery of presentations to executive levels
10% travel included in the position

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
Proven ability with data extraction and enhancement
Successful Business Operational Improvement experience
Visualization software app development skills (Qlik/Tableau/Power BI)
Effective Project Team leadership or participation
Advance analysis capability through the use of macros, regression modeling, statistical analysis, general systems programming, etc.
