This position is located in Omaha and reports to the Office Managing Principal.

Essential Functions

  • Preparation and filing of immigration applications, including immigrant visa petitions, applications for permanent residency, naturalization applications, including PERMs, Preference Petitions and Adjustment of Status Applications.
  • Liaising with relevant government agencies including USCIS, ICE, CBP, US Department of State, and US Department of Labor
  • Advise and train employers on a wide range of immigration laws and regulations
  • Represent employers before administrative agencies in a broad range of employment based immigration matters
  • Address client case status inquiries, including steps in process remaining, processing times, and consular appointment issues

Qualifications/Skills Required

  • 1- 3 years Immigration experience preferred, but not required
  • Possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to excellence
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to manage client relationships for high-volume clients and complex projects under short deadlines
  • Proficiency with various technology platforms, including Microsoft Office and LawLogix
  • Initiative, team orientation and professionalism
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced environment

Educational Requirements

  • JD from Accredited Law School
