Providence is calling a Patient Services Representative (Spokane Heart Institute , Day Shift, Part time with 20 hrs/week) to Spokane Heart Institute in Spokane, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position you will:
Ensuring documentation is complete and signed accurately
Collection of appropriate co-pay or payments on account
Collection of proper and complete patient demographics.
Daily opening and closing of cash box.
Scanning and faxing as required by clinic.
Answering multi line phone system to clinic standards, including proper documentation.
Understanding HIPAA and patient privacy.
Collecting of Provider’s in and out box daily.
Adheres to established company compliance, policies, procedures and protocols
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED)
Customer service experience
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience.
