Business Description

The CSO engineering team is focused on integration and delivery of security solutions which are responsible for securing our Windows 10 devices. Secure, stable, and integrated platforms are the foundations to enable users performing their roles at Deutsche Bank.

The CSO engineering team are at the forefront of collaboration and strategic implementation of solutions for Deutsche Bank’s users. The platforms in scope are windows desktop builds for all physical and virtual platforms, and further expansion to other operating systems.

Position Description

While working within the CSO engineering team, you will be a part of and own the implementation of the current Windows 10 security strategy, which covers all end user facing endpoints currently deployed and in use today, both physical and virtual totaling to over ~100k unique devices.

As an engineer within the team you will be involved with all packaging, testing, documenting, collaboration and delivery aspects of the various security themes currently being considered, where the initial focus is Windows Defender, and Windows Defender ATP. During this effort, collaboration is a key component of success as there will be opportunity for interactions with multiple organizations and timelines.

Close alignment to the Windows 10 production deployment and support teams is required to ensure that deployment of the tools is facilitated, planned and supported, along with updating compliance checks and KPI’s.

Key responsibilities for this role include:
Identify tasks required to enable delivery of security tools into Deutsche Bank
Performance Impact analysis experience with multiple tools
Design engineering roadmap for multi-phase releases through product maturity
Identify and develop automation of tasks and reporting
Testing of various security tool configurations and documenting their impact on endpoint
Maintain JIRA tasks
Provide L3 support
Provide guidance to management team on project status and issues
Job Requirements

Essential Technical Skills:
Experience and knowledge of Microsoft client Operating Systems including Windows 7 and 10 (includes but not limited to GPO, Firewall configuration)
A broad understanding of deployment technologies used for Windows clients
Understanding of cloud application deployment and management
Experience and knowledge of both physical and virtual compute technologies
Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Active Directory
Knowledge and experience with compliance checking of endpoint devices
High level of awareness of security compliance fundamentals and specifics regarding data integrity and auditing
Individual contributor who inputs into larger team
Experience with performance monitoring tools
Understanding of anti-malware deployment methodologies and concepts

Preferable Technical Skills:
Knowledge of Microsoft Configuration Manager
Knowledge of Windows Defender + Defender ATP
Knowledge of native Windows 10 security capabilities available and their implementation
Ability to change or create PowerShell scripts\packages

Background/ Work Experience Required:
Ability to work within a technical team
Experience with conducting lab testing, including regression testing
Experience with risk and compliance assessments
Demonstrated ability of deploying solutions through entire life-cycle, Dev, UAT, Prod
Ability to research and engage with vendors to obtain solutions
Ability to act as technical lead to guide other colleagues
Experience in producing fluent, precise documentation
Knowledge of corporate integration of Microsoft Windows products
Ability to visualize technical concepts for consumption by varying audiences
Highly self-motivated and ability to prioritize tasks and projects
Focus on maximizing end user experience in design of solution
Experience of working in large complex, preferably global, enterprise environments
Working knowledge of SDLC practices
