As a Senior Revenue Accounting Consultant, you will assist with all operational accounting and revenue recognition related process improvements. In this role, you will partner with our clients by leading the month-end close process, financial reporting, and audit compliance. You will lead a team and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and accuracy.

Lead team that determines revenue operations process improvements and lead effort to create detail process documents
Report on bookings, billings and revenue as well as annual recurring revenue (ARR) by customer, etc.
Manage monthly/quarterly close process for all revenue and deferred revenue accounts
Prepare and maintain metrics reports such as renewal rates, customer counts, and churn/expansion
Assist with management of world-wide customer invoicing and collections
Review customer contracts and document key terms for revenue recognition
Reconcile deferred revenue accounts and record any adjustments
Assist with adoption of ASC 606
Participate in audits and prepare revenue related schedules
Collaborate with Sales teams to implement best practices
Lead month-end close process, including maintaining the general ledger and sub-ledgers
Reviews journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations as well as analyzes account variances
Communicates and follows up with business partners to ensure that open/outstanding issues are resolved in a timely manner
Ensures appropriate accounting treatment in accordance with US GAAP
Prepares and analyzes monthly and quarterly reports
Identifies and implements process improvements and system enhancements
Reviews policies and procedures to ensure SOX compliance


Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field required, Master’s Degree preferred
5-plus years of public accounting, related consulting or industry experience preferred
Relevant certifications (CPA, CISA, CFE) preferred
SEC reporting experience is a plus
Strong knowledge of US GAAP
Experience with ERP systems
Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills
Strong orientation to client service, time management, and project delivery
