We are currently seeking a Language-Enabled Intelligence Analyst. This position is located in Columbus, OH. This position is contingent on award of contract and candidates are expected to start within 30 days of contract award.

The selected candidate will serve as a member of a team of highly qualified and motivated individuals supporting a timely and mission-critical effort related to areas of interest focused on space, engineering, and similar technologies. The candidate will work with a team of cleared linguists and subject matter experts to provide space-related information for planning, analysis, and projects in support of the Space Security and Defense Program (SSDP). The analyst will be responsible for foreign language translation of advanced science and technology topics using data science tools to collect, organize, and analyze information and deliver analytic studies, datasets, and translated reference material. The candidate will use advanced open source techniques and cultural knowledge to provide deep insights into areas of interest for SSDP from a wide variety of sources and technical information.

The SSDP is a Joint Department of Defense (DoD) and Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) organization established to function as the center of excellence for options and strategies leading to a more resilient and enduring National Security Space (NSS) Enterprise. The SSDP scope spans multiple space missions and stakeholders. It is focused on being responsive to NSS stakeholders in providing technical and operational assessments of emergent threat concepts and developing near- and far-term plans to address strategies, threats, and vulnerabilities. SSDP projects/activities center on identifying solutions to current space protection needs with a commonsense approach to balancing near-term results with long-term acquisition, architecture, and strategic objectives.

Collect, organize, and analyze information from multiple sources in order to author strategic-level intelligence products.
Provide language translation and coordinate science and technology assessments.
Use data science tools, where appropriate, to carry out job responsibilities.
Work in a multi-disciplinary environment covering advanced scientific and technology topics.
Must be able to work independently with some oversight and function effectively as part of a team in a joint working environment.
Provide thorough and completed products that require minor revisions and/or editing.
Active TS/SCI.
Level III in Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT) or equivalent American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) level for the following languages: Russian, Chinese/Mandarin, Persian Farsi, Korean, French, Spanish, Arabic.
Bachelor’s Degree in political science, data science, foreign language, international relations, or similar.
At least 5-10 years of experience as an intelligence analyst or equivalent to fulfill the job requirements.
Experience with collecting, assembling, interpreting, translating, and analyzing open source data, such as scientific publications, social media, and databases, and synthesizing knowledge into actionable intelligence.
Experience with assessing and technical reporting on technologies and scientific topics, i.e. technology readiness levels (TRL) and critical technology elements (CTE).
Experience working in U.S. national security, e.g. intelligence community, military, joint operations, or related government contracting.
Master’s Degree in the above areas.
More than 10 years of experience as an intelligence analyst or equivalent to fulfill the job requirements.
Experience supporting U.S. Space Programs and DoD COCOMs.
