JOB SUMMARY

This job is responsible for managing a team of experienced adult learning professionals. The incumbent excels at crafting innovative solutions that reflect the enterprise's vision and goals for all learners (internal and external). The job conducts needs analysis' and crafts innovative, performance-based solutions that focus on learning outcomes for diverse, multi-generational audiences.The job will provide project oversight and coaching as it relates to learning solutions, and assist with content creation, as needed. The job will provide management to multiple projects in a technology environment.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform management responsibilities to include, but are not limited to: involved in hiring and termination decisions, coaching and development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity. Plan, organize, staff, direct and control the day-to-day operations of the department; develop and implement policies and programs as necessary; may have budgetary responsibility and authority.
Provide guidance and coaching to other team members, as appropriate, to ensure that quality learning solutions are delivered for internal customers and enterprise partners.
Conduct or leads effort to conduct a needs analysis to determine learning expectations related to appropriate metrics. May conduct other learning related analysis and research to align learning to business outcomes.
Acting as a manager, negotiates with internal customers and enterprise partners, and craft learning experiences and learning solutions related to learning impact, including, but not limited to, relevant drivers to achieve successful learning outcomes.
Develop, implement, and hold team members accountable to a measurement of training success and impact.
Execute a number of diverse projects simultaneously while managing details and meeting deadlines. Working directly with designers and other stakeholders to understand and characterize learning needs for these projects.

EDUCATION

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts, Organizational Behavior Studies, Business Communications, Business Administration/Management or Related Discipline
Substitutions

6 years progressive and related experience in lieu of Bachelor degree

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design OR
Master's Degree in Instructional Design
EXPERIENCE
