Onward Search's client, a streaming entertainment network, is seeking an Art Director to join the Brand Design team for a freelance opportunity.

Skills:
Ideate and execute strategic design solutions and 360 marketing campaigns specifically in regards to both original and acquired properties domestic and international being a great storyteller.
Ideate branding initiatives for Global Marketing that includes servicing global networks as well as streaming network with critical thinking and creative strategy skills being a master of authoring creative briefs.
Work as a team member, but also be a resourceful self-starter and leader and manage multiple teams and projects able to meet budgets and quick turnaround deadlines.
Be an effective liaison between various groups internally as well as externally with agencies and vendors.
Should have strong proactive leadership skills and the ability to see projects from concept through execution unsupervised.
Mentor all designers and creative staff being able to take and give creative direction and relishes collaboration and growth with the ability to harness creativity from others.
Maintain an efficient and fluid workflow and process and promptly communicates any issues regarding design, production, operations to management.
Manages assets and archives projects accordingly and understands delivery adept at people management and exhibiting executive presence. Is adept at the art of anticipation and is a proactive problem solver.
Willingness to take on responsibilities outside of job description with the ability to respond to business demands in a fast-paced environment. Maintain familiarity with the current culture and design trends, social platforms and the relevance of fast and slow trends.
Exhibit an innate sense of curiosity bringing a sense of passion and positive energy and inspires others to create a safe environment with an entrepreneurial spirit.
Oversee the organization, management, staffing, and career development for a department of minimum 20+ staff and temp employees
Supervise all off-air branded promotional content for networks and other groups as assigned including a wide range of materials from and not limited to crucial art ideation and production, trailers, EPK, sizzle reels, radio advertising, development and the production of B2B and B2C initiatives such as Upfront, LA Screenings, TCA, CES, Comic-con, various stunts, show packaging, digital marketing, games marketing, ad/ sales decks, etc.

Requirements:
7-10 years in design and production broadcast, digital, print, experiential with agency experience is preferred.
Bachelor Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Art or Film.
Experience in launching integrated campaigns around originals and acquired programming, including ideation of key art concepts, social campaigns, broadcast and editorial a plus.
Creativity, leadership, ability to think strategically, innovation, teamwork, ability to multi-task, communication skills, time management, prioritization skills a must.
Experience in a creative leadership role in an agency environment having led in the conception and creation of integrated campaigns across multiple platforms.
Able to exhibit strong business acumen and impeccable presentation skills.
Expert in Abobe Creative Suite required portfolio showcasing strong photoshop, illustration, typography and compositing skills required.
Working knowledge of 2D animation, Cinema4D, Premiere, AE, event design a definite plus.
Strong working knowledge of the fundamentals of interaction design, brand development, digital marketing, and the creative process as well as new social platforms and technologies is preferred.
Strong ability to provide clear creative direction and provide timely and helpful feedback to improve creative processes to keep work on budget and schedule.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and mentor team members.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, being a great communicator.
Strong ability to prioritize work and resources across engagements based on short and long-term need.
Master at running multiple projects at once pivoting when need be.
Focused proficiency with directing photo shoots, live action, mechanical process, photo editorial, etc.
Passionate about original acquired and library content and global branding initiatives, experiential and all-around storytelling.
A professional team member who is an active participant and punctual, with the ability to work flexible hours to attain the highest standard of creative excellence.
