Who We Need
We are searching for a Plant Manager in the Permian Basin area to direct, coordinate, and oversee the day-to-day operations of the sand plant.
Our ideal Plant Manager will increase our success by:
Directing and coordinating plant operations regarding production, quality, and safety.
Evaluating, implementing, and monitoring process and operating systems for efficient plant operations.
Developing an effective team that has a clear vision of the path forward which enforces teamwork and accountability.
Coordinating the scheduling of all processing, shipping, and preventative maintenance activities at the plant to assure shipments are made on time and meet quality requirements.
Developing and maintaining operating budget.
Clearly communicating goals for the team and plant, including establishing goals and tracking and reporting goal performance.
Generating activity reports that track production an operating efficiency.
Ensuring production requirements are met or exceeded in compliance with environmental and MSHA rules and regulations.
What You Should Show Us
To be successful as a Plant Manager with Alpine Silica, you must demonstrate the following competencies:
Short and long-term planning and scheduling
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong organizational skills
Plant Manager Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
10 years’ of mining experience, preferably within the frac sand industry.
5 years’ supervisory experience.
Plant start-up experience preferred.
Knowledgeable of MSHA regulations.
Excellent time management skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—both written and oral.
Proficient computer skills to include Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point.
Ability to develop, implement and optimize long term mining plans.
Demonstrated commitment and ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to make timely, critical decisions, often under conditions of uncertainty and stress.
Conveys information clearly and effectively through formal and informal communication.
