The Partners and Alliances team is looking for an energetic and innovative student intern to fill an 8-month co-op position focused on project management and coordination. As a key member of a small core team you will work on a series of projects that are focused on enhancing and nurturing existing partnerships between MD Financial Management and various medical organizations.

Some of what you would be doing:
The various projects and initiatives you would work on facilitate the adoption of a partnering approach to how MD does business. Sample areas of focus include:
Coordination of sponsorship events in collaboration with internal marketing and external partner organizations
Project management of B2B marketing initiatives
Development and documentation of new business strategies and best practices for internal and external partnering activities as the MD landscape continuously evolves
Internet research projects to identify business development opportunities for improving partnering success
General administrative team support including documentation of relationships and sales management funnels of partner organizations updating of partner action reports and maintaining SharePoint document sites
Intranet content support (web writing and design elements)
What we are looking for:
Currently enrolled in a College or University degree program preferably in Business Administration Health Administration or Communications
Experience in project management marketing coordination stakeholder engagement or similar topics
Exceptional organizational skills and written/verbal communications skills
Advanced knowledge and experience with various software programs including:
Microsoft Office 360 (PowerPoint Word Excel Outlook)
Information Management Systems (SharePoint Microsoft CRM Dynamics Tableau)
Documentation Systems (Adobe Acrobat)
It would also be great if you have:
Ability to demonstrate diplomacy when establishing and maintaining effective working relationships internally and with partners
Ability to think strategically and work to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail
Ability to work independently as well as in a remote team environment
Enthusiasm and flair for adapting to new technologies
Strong understanding of the project management discipline and its concepts
Good understanding of the principles of change management
Knowledge of the wealth management business and understanding of financial products and solutions
Successful completion of at least one organizational change elective
