Northrop Grumman is seeking a Business Management Manager 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The Business Management Manager will manage and support multiple departments in the Air C2 Operating Unit (OU) in Redondo Beach, California. This person will partner with the Air C2 OU Business Manager to develop strategy, manage and report on program performance, and achieve financial goals.
Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :
Leads all aspects of Program execution objectives on multiple level 1 Earned Value Management (EVM) programs
Solicits, analyzes, and proactively challenges baseline and schedule inputs / updates as well as recommends workarounds to Program Managers / Control Account Managers (CAMs)
Program resource management, including cost estimation, allocation, tracking, and analysis
Subcontractor invoicing and funding
Estimate-at-Complete (EAC) preparation and review
Supports the recruitment, development, and retention of Program Control Analyst (PCA) staff
Prepares and presents financial data to internal and external customers, including variance analysis and forecasts
Compliance and financial reporting
Collaborates with the customer and functional teams
Reviews contractual documents
Assists with contract negotiations
Supports pricing and proposal activities
Close monitoring and analysis of Funding availability, Milestone Billings, and Cash collections
Leads the development of Annual Operating Plan (AOP) / Long Range Strategic Planning (LRSP)
Forecasts awards, sales, profit, cash
Identifies issues and makes recommendations to management for resolution

Must have one of the following:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline with a minimum of 8 years of industry related experience in finance, accounting, or program control
Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline with a minimum of 6 years of industry related experience in finance, accounting, or program control
Thorough and demonstrated understanding of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) financial analysis and CDRL deliveries (CFSR, CPR Formats 1-5)
Prior experience with government program budgeting and forecasting, as well as Annual Operating Plan development
Strong experience with MPM, SAP, and COGNOS
Prior experience preparing and presenting financial analysis to team and/or management
Understanding of DoD contracts, government Cost Accounting Standards, and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) / Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Excel Pivot tables
Must be able to work on-site in Redondo Beach, California
Must be able to travel as needed (up to 10% of the time)
Active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance
