Our physicians are qualified to serve as each patient’s advocate in all health-related matters, including the appropriate use of specialists and other health services.
Examines and treats patients independently and in autonomous collaboration with other health care professionals. Ensures proper illness and injury care and disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.
Requires a master's degree in area of specialty, certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP), and state authority for advanced practice.
Interprets and integrates data to determine appropriate and therapeutic procedures as needed.
Orders appropriate laboratory and diagnostic procedures.
Assess for post procedure complications.
Synthesizes data to determine preliminary diagnosis and therapeutic plan Collaborates with supervising physician.
Interviews and advises patients regarding health and illness prevention. Recommends community resources to meet patient and family needs.
Instructs patient and family regarding medications and treatment instructions. Provides patient education.
Documents medical records with all patient encounters, provides accurate information on all documentation, and completes billing charges in a timely manner.
Round on all PCI discharges to assure documentation is complete.
Review cath lab quality measures quarterly to assure all co-morbid conditions, appropriate use criteria and stress tests reports have been captured for the Cardiology Department.
Takes call in a rotation schedule agreed to by Cardiology Physician Group.
