Full Job Description
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Finance, Business Administration or another field that uses quantitative analysis, or equivalent practical experience.
6 years of work experience in sales incentive design, compensation, go to market/strategy consulting, sales operations, or similar analytical roles.
Experience in framing and cross-functionally solving problems through quantitative and qualitative analyses.
Experience operating in a large-scale, global enterprise business; experience in Cloud/technology
Experience analyzing data and the ability to distill trends for storytelling and principled recommendations.
Experience in consulting.
Excellent spreadsheet skills.
Knowledge of Anaplan and Sales Incentive Compensation Tool (e.g., Xactly, Callidus, OIC).

You are comfortable managing several projects at once, and help key decision makers make sound choices by analyzing data and working on critical issues.
Our team runs end-to-end compensation programs (merit, promotion, bonus, equity), and as a Compensation Analyst, you will work closely with our business leaders in creating incentive designs that further Google’s business strategy while maintaining appropriate governance and adhering to Google’s compensation philosophy.
You will look to continually enhance our existing Sales programs, while creating innovative designs to support Google’s newest products. Combining data and feedback from our Googlers with the latest industry research, you will make large-scale, data-driven decisions that impact Googlers in a meaningful way.

Partner with sales leadership to understand and align on business priorities.
Support incentive compensation design-to-deployment, gain alignment with stakeholders, manage compensation design (components and payout curves), and oversee cost modeling.
Manage global communication and change management when rolling out new or updated incentive compensation plans.
Drive cross- functional alignment with sales, sales operations, and sales finance teams. Evaluate and respond to design exception requests.
Ensure appropriate governance and adherence to Google’s compensation philosophy.
