As the only non-profit Hospice in the region affiliated with Mary Washington Healthcare, we cater to a diverse population – pediatrics to geriatrics. Our holistic and inter-disciplinary team embraces complementary and expressive therapy (music and massage), and we have an extensive volunteer group.
We provide our services at assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities and at private homes. Here you will find a commitment to professional development through educational stipends, certifications and more. We offer flexible scheduling, limited on-call and the ability to use your clinical skills in an independent and autonomous setting.
A master's degree in pastoral counseling, pastoral care, or divinity
Clinical Pastoral Education with in a health care setting (1 unit minimum, 4 units preferred).
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
The ability to adapt to a variety of changing circumstances and settings in the provision of care.
Professional ministry experience: denominational or faith community endorsement..
