Community Liaison/Marketing Specialist - Outpatient Mental Health Clinic (OMHC)
First Choice Community Counseling LLC is seeking an experienced and dynamic Community Liaison/Marketing Specialist to represent our outpatient mental health clinic (OMHC) and promote our services within the community. This role is crucial in establishing strong community relationships, enhancing the clinic’s visibility, and driving referrals to support the clinic's growth and reach.
The ideal candidate will be from the surrounding area, with an in-depth knowledge of the local community and its resources, which will be instrumental in building relationships and fostering trust.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase community awareness of the clinic's services.
- Act as a liaison between the clinic and community organizations, healthcare providers, schools, and other referral sources.
- Identify and establish partnerships with local community organizations and businesses to foster collaborations that enhance the clinic’s visibility.
- Conduct outreach to potential referral sources, including hospitals, primary care providers, social service agencies, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Organize and attend community events, health fairs, and networking opportunities to represent the clinic and promote its services.
- Create marketing materials, including brochures, newsletters, social media content, and website updates to effectively communicate the clinic’s services and success stories.
- Collaborate with clinic leadership to identify and pursue opportunities for growth and expansion in the community.
- Track and analyze marketing and outreach efforts, providing regular reports to clinic leadership on outcomes and recommendations for improvement.
- Maintain a positive and professional image of the clinic within the community, ensuring that all marketing and outreach activities align with the clinic’s mission and values.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in healthcare marketing or community outreach, particularly within the mental health field, is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with the local community and its resources is essential.
- Strong understanding of mental health services, including outpatient mental health clinic operations.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and networking skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with community organizations and referral sources.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in social media marketing, digital marketing, and content creation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Passion for mental health advocacy and a commitment to improving access to care in the community.
