The Senior Manager of Ticket Sales will be responsible for increasing total ticket sales revenue year-over-year. This position will directly manage a team of two (2) full-time Account Executive Sales Representatives and two (2) Seasonal Inside Sales Representatives. This position will be responsible for the posting, hiring process and training of the ticketing sales team.

As Manager of Ticket Sales this individual will be charged with developing an incentive-based approach that will drive results from the Account Executives and Inside Sales Representatives. Specifically, renewing season ticket members while increasing new season ticket membership year-over-year.

Additional responsibilities include expanding on existing and developing new group-sales activations. This position will also be charged with increasing total in-stadium and field-suite sales year-over-year.

This individual will report directly to the Senior Director of Business and Team Operations through weekly meetings and weekly ticket sales tracking reports. The Manager of Ticket Sales will also work directly with the Senior Director of Business and Team Operations on ticket pricing strategies and ticket sales projections.

The Manager of Ticket Sales will direct and manager their staff at onsite ticket selling activations at various events in and around Denver, Colorado. This individual will manage the assigning of gameday responsibilities to their staff with a focus on gameday hosting of season ticket members and group sales.

Other responsibilities include working with the Manager of Partnership Marketing and Sponsorship Sales on any and all sponsorships that include hospitality, suites, tickets, parking passes, etc.

Season Ticket Membership / Renewal & New - 55%
Lead ticket sales staff to achieve a 95% season ticket membership renewal rate year-over-year
Lead ticket sales staff to achieve new season ticket membership year-over-year
Manage call-logs and meet weekly with ticket sales staff to ensure ticket sales pacing will meet goal
Provide exceptional hospitality and hosting to season ticket members on gameday
Work with the Coordinator of Digital Media, Public Relations and Marketing to strategically implement Denver Outlaws social media to increase season ticket membership sales
Set-up, maintain and activate email campaign to increase season ticket membership sales
Manage all season ticket membership sales transactions
Work with Senior Director of Business and Team Operations on season ticket member pricing strategy and projections
Provide weekly reports of season ticket membership sales for both renewals and new membership to the Senior Director of Business and Team Operations
Maintain, update and optimize season ticket membership list

Group Sales – 30%
Lead ticket sales staff to achieve a 95% renewal rate in group ticket sales
Lead ticket sales staff to achieve new group ticket sales year-over-year
Maintain, update and optimize group ticket sales list
Develop new group sales opportunities for ticket sales staff to sell
Work with the Coordinator of Digital Media, Public Relations and Marketing to strategically implement Denver Outlaws social media to increase group ticket sales
Provide exceptional hospitality and hosting to group ticket sales members on gameday
Set-up, maintain and activate email campaign to increase group ticket sales
Manage all group ticket sales transactions
Provide weekly reports of group ticket sales for both renewals and new membership to Sr. Director of Business and Team Operations
Maintain, update and optimize group ticket sales list

Gameday – 10%
Manage, assign, coordinate and implement gameday responsibilities to ticket sales staff; Box Office staffing, Outlaws concourse table staffing, setting up premium on-field suites
Provide exceptional service and hosting to season ticket members, group ticket sales and all guests during gameday
Provide Senior Director of Business and Team Operations with attendance numbers for approval prior to announcing attendance numbers on Thundervision

Denver Outlaws Academy – 5%
  • Work directly with the Manager of Outlaws Academy to facilitate and process all ticket purchases and distribution
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of event ticket sales experience preferred
Background of sports team events preferred
Proficiency with Ticketmaster applications and Groupmatics
Proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)
Strong work ethic with an innate sense of urgency, creativity and tenacity
