The Compensation Manager is responsible for the design, development, implementation and ongoing administration of the Company’s base, variable and equity compensation programs, policies and procedures. This role helps to ensure that the compensation program enhances the organization’s ability to recruit and retain associates. This position also ensures that company compensation programs are consistently administered in compliance with company policies and government regulations. This role will work strategically with the executive team, management and the HR leadership team to provide governance and recommendations of the TRIMEDX compensation programs.

Internal Compensation Program Management (80%)

Drive competitive and versatile compensation programs that align with the growing business to attract and retain top talent.
Plans, leads and drives the completion of the annual merit increase process.
Conduct market pricing through participation in salary surveys and analysis of statistical data and make recommendations for and implement sound pay practices/programs.
Design long term plans to assure competitive, equitable pay and incentive pay practices are linked to individual, team and business performance.
Design and drive the bonus and incentive plan programs for executives, directors, managers and individual contributors.
Team with the Director, Compensation & Benefits to develop the TRIMEDX company philosophy and guiding principles; develop training and education of the compensation philosophy and process.
Inform and educate leadership and associates on the compensation program and the value of these packages as they relate to total compensation.
Partner with Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners and Leadership to stay abreast of any potential attraction and retention issues related to compensation.
Partner with HRIS & Payroll teams to ensure compensation changes are processed accurately and timely
Ensure compensation strategies align with staffing models
Supports ad hoc HR and business projects as needed
Provide support regarding the administration and execution of Executive Compensation programs
External Compensation Initiatives (20%)

Oversee research and analysis of compensation market conditions and salary practices. Make appropriate updates and recommendations regarding the company compensation programs and market equity
Select third party compensation surveys to participate in & review data submission
Complete special pay research, studies and benchmarking analysis and requests as needed
Ensure compliance with compensation programs
Participate in external compensation organizations/associates to keep informed of recent compensation changes and initiatives in the market.
Education and Work Experience

Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or a related field required; master’s degree preferred
CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) preferred
Minimum 7 years in Human Resources, with at least 5 years in compensation
Experience working with executive compensation programs preferred
Experience and proven ability to work in a growth-oriented company is essential


Demonstrated ability to design and implement complex compensation programs
Solid working knowledge of broad-based compensation topics such as market pricing, salary structure design and development, job evaluation and analysis
Ability to work with external consultants and partners regarding future compensation programs
Ability to design and manage executive compensation programs
Knowledge of compensation principles and practices, state and federal government regulations pertaining to compensation compliance (i.e.: DOL, FLSA) required
Knowledge and experience with incentive software and systems
Advanced skills in MS Office, particularly Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, report building)
Must be able to work with highly confidential data and maintain confidentiality at all times
Ability to identify and solve problems through creativity, sound compensation principles and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to think critically, analyze, listen, clarify and solve problems
Demonstrated attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy and ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines and maintain high quality work
Working knowledge of HRIS systems
Strong problem solving, verbal /written communication and presentation skills
Able to work independently and be a strong team player
