We need an organized and energetic office manager!

Spohn Ranch began as a community, anchored by Aaron Spohn’s backyard half-pipe, and grew into an award-winning skatepark design/build firm. A cornerstone of action sports progression for over 25 years, our backyard roots have spread globally, culminating in hundreds of cutting-edge creations.

Our Office Manager is the initial interface between our company and the outside world, including clients, suppliers, employees, and media. It is important that our Office Manager is positive and upbeat on the phone and in the office at all times, while performing a wide array of tasks with expediency and attention to detail.

Responsibilities include:

  • Dealing with the phones – answering calls and routing them; handling general inquiries
  • Keeping office supplies stocked – kitchens, offices, bathrooms, office equipment
  • General office maintenance
  • Mail and shipping
  • Filing and organization
  • Assisting with various payroll and HR tasks
  • Database maintenance/ organization of contacts
  • Travel booking
  • Assisting with bookkeeping – organizing and paying bills, processing expense reports, credit card receipts and statements, bank deposits
  • Requesting insurance certificates
  • Errands and other light personal assistant duties for the CEO and President
  • Planning and coordination of company BBQs and parties
  • Various ad-Hoc Projects

The fine print part of our desired qualifications:

  • Proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Ability to type fast enough to compose a letter while someone is talking
  • Good grammar and writing skills
  • Good internet research skills
  • Basic math skills (calculator or computer okay) - adding, subtracting, multiplying, percentages
  • Ability to learn new software and computer interfaces without difficulty
  • A car and a valid driver’s license for running errands
