Under general supervision, functions as a staff assistant conducting administrative staff assignments, special projects and studies relating to the overall management and execution of the Outcomes and Assessment Information Set (OASIS) program. Assists in the establishment and implementation of program goals and objectives, policies and procedures. Participates in the development of training programs for the Home Health Field Staff and provider groups. Coordinates activities of the OASIS program, including scheduling surveys and follow-up surveys.
Minimum Requirements: Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of four years of college, preferably with courses in public or business administration. Requires one year of professional experience in a public or private organization, or completion of an agency approved professional management training program. Requires extensive knowledge of office practices, procedures and programs. Requires extensive knowledge of the logic of computer programs, language and applications including thorough knowledge of Micro Software Products. Requires extensive knowledge of composition, grammar, spelling and punctuation. Requires ability to follow and give oral and written instructions. Requires the ability and demeanor to represent the unit when dealing with the public. Requires physical, visual and auditory ability to carry out assigned duties. Requires the ability to travel. Requires possession of a valid Illinois driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance.
