We specialize in recruiting trucks to haul merchandise for companies such as Whole Foods, Costco, Sysco, etc.
We are seeking an energetic office assistant that can thrive in a high-stress environment, have phenomenal multitasking skills, basic computer knowledge (Microsoft programs) and excellent communication skills for an entry level Logistics/Dispatch position.
This position is filled with hectic and time-sensitive duties. Previous Logistics experience is not necessary (but preferred) as the company will train the right individual. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic company with a team-like atmosphere.
Providing exceptional Customer Service.
Setting up delivery appointments and updating carrier locations. Contact shippers, carriers, and customers to facilitate shipments.
Updating shipments via email, phone, etc.
Previous customer service or office experience required. Prior logistics/dispatch experience is a plus. Detail oriented. Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, etc) required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and organization skills. Ability to build rapport with clients. Must be able to prioritize workload and be able to multi-task.

Salary: $12.50 to $15.00 /hour
