The position reports to the Supply Chain Manager of a Pharmaceutical Manufacturer and Distributor. Responsibilities include international and domestic logistics and supply chain activities including inventory management and demand planning.

The position requires flexibility, nimbleness and a strong commitment to detail. It is a fast paced position that is filled with complexity and demanding stakeholders; good decision making skills and the ability to work cross-functionally is a must. The position located in Parsippany, NJ.


  • Coordinate logistics for incoming and outgoing shipments including tracking and clearance
  • Manage inventory including being responsible for order timing, stock/shipping distributions & packaging processes
  • Prepare, execute and receive purchase orders
  • Receive and review shipping docs from international and domestic vendors
  • Track items in inventory and issue stock transfers as necessary
  • Update and maintain shipping information and order tracking systems
  • Provide customs brokers with customs & FDA codes per shipment to meet DSCSA requirements and follow up on shipment release with the FDA if needed
  • Arrange deliveries to customers by working with logistics companies
  • Update monthly demand planning sheet
  • Generate and distribute weekly & monthly sales reports

  • At least 5 years of supply chain or logistics experience, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience with SAP/Oracle is preferred
  • Background knowledge with Customs & FDA requirements is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 /year
