The position of Director, Operations Product Management will lead WFS Lands product strategy as it relates to transportation and logistics technology initiatives. The role will define the technology solutions related to order fulfillment, tank monitoring, planning and dispatch as well as 3rd party process engagement and supporting operations data. The position will work with commercial and logistic partners to define the national processes for managing order fulfillment, work to translate these requirements into technology capabilities and engage with stakeholders to implement the solutions. The role will document existing processes, identify technology solutions to drive operational improvements and work with key stakeholders to set the strategic direction that matches the business strategy. The position will provide functional support and technical insight in the areas of system administration, problem resolution, application support, process mapping, system testing, security access, and training.
Skills & Experiences:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Transportation & Logistics, Operations Research or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent)
5+ years leading fuel distribution, business process improvement and technology projects in the transportation and logistics space
Experience with TMW, ORTEC, Touchstar, Intellifuels or equivalent is highly desirable
Demonstrable experience working effectively across organizational silos to achieve tangible business results thru technology implementation
Program management experience and ability to positively embrace change and be a change agent
Experience with customer journey-mapping techniques and/or other tools and structured methodologies focused on improving the customer experience
Experience driving change in a customer-facing business area / the customer experience
Superior communication (both written and verbal) and organizational skills
Knowledge of Agile development processes and tools
Experience using data/analytics to measure system performance and root-cause analysis of defects
