As the Glam Seamless Salon/Retail Store Manager to our Soho salon, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our salon and retail store. Your primary focus will be on ensuring an outstanding customer experience, managing a team of beauty professionals, driving sales, and maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere in the salon and store.
- Effectively perform all operations functions opens and closes the store, register, and back-office management procedures
- Contribute to management and store meetings, offering suggestions for associate development, sales opportunities, and organizational improvements
- Serve as a role model for sales associates in sales generation and customer service by making the customer experience the priority
- Reinforce customer service principles by coaching staff on their successes and challenges
- Demonstrate and model client service and onstage leadership standards
- Develop strateges to grow the business, leveraging client loyalty programs, events, product knowledge and services
- Implement new policies and procedures and hold the team accountable to meeting goals
- Recruit, interview, and hire qualified staff members alongside HR
- Ensure that product knowledge training is scheduled and successfully completed
- Manage the selling floor and salon floor increasing client retention
- Ensure safety and cleanliness in the stockroom, break area, bathroom, etc.
- Partner with HR and Headquarters team to ensure that all team members adhere to Store Operations and Loss Prevention policies
- Conduct weiekly/monthly store meetings
- Inventory management
- Set up and review merchandising and window displays that enhance the GLAM standards
- Cross department coordination for product launches, marketing, sales and our online support team
- Achieve weekly/monthly sales goals
- Establish and evaluate weekly/monthly Touch Bases with each retail associate and stylist
Experience
- Proven experience as a Salon Manager or Retail Store Manager in the beauty industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Demonstrated sales and revenue growth experience.
- Knowledge of beauty products and industry trends.
- Familiarity with salon and retail store operations.
