Position Overview:
The Human Resources Associate will report to the Human Resources Director and provide essential HR support to our residential programs. This role will play a key part in talent acquisition, working closely with the Talent Acquisition Specialist and Residential Services Management to assist with interviews, job offers, background reviews, and onboarding processes. We work with people integrated into the community, living in their own homes and in our residential settings. Our mission is to help people improve their quality of life by empowering them with knowledge, resources and skills and treating them with dignity and respect.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee HR functions for RTI's residential program.
- Assist in talent acquisition, including conducting interviews, extending job offers, and completing background checks.
- Support onboarding processes for new hires in the residential program.
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Specialist and Residential Services Management.
- Provide ongoing HR support to residential program staff.
- Ensure compliance with all HR policies and procedures.
Required Experience:
- One year of HR experience to include one year of onboarding experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of Human Resources experience working with entry-level teams, OR
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year or more of experience in a Human Resources role at a social service agency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related social service field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a management role in a social service or health care setting overseeing entry-level employees.
