The Patient Services Representative, BHPG (PSR) is responsible for performing diversified clerical tasks. Demonstrates outstanding customer service skills on behalf of the Bridgton Hospital Physicians Group (BHPG). Responsibilities include: developing and maintaining data collection for the practice and assisting in delivering the goals and services of BHPG. Must be a graduate of high school and have demonstrated clerical and computer skills. Prior medical office, customer service experience and knowledge of medical terminology preferred. Regulatory
Requirements: High School Graduate or Equivalent. Minimum of two (2) years medical office experience preferred. Previous experience with health insurance and patient billing preferred. Completion of medical terminology course preferred. Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. Excellent interpersonal skills Skills: Basic Computer Knowledge, Data Entry, Keyboard skills: 35 - 40 wpm. Excellent customer service skills.
