Summary/Objective
The HR Specialist, Total Rewards is responsible for defining and procuring competitive rewards packages for AS Americas employees, and supporting the HR team in communicating and utilizing these plans for the retention and motivation of employees.

Essential Functions

Regularly review and recommend updates to compensation and benefits packages to maintain a competitive position for key talent.
Develop and deploy marketing and communication materials for rewards packages, especially benefits, to enhance the employment brand in partnership with outside vendors.
Provide Cost/Value Analysis of rewards packages in relation to budget and relevant external and internal benchmarks.
Monitor the effectiveness of external providers of rewards such as benefits carriers, brokers, process outsourcing providers, and retirement plan administrators.
Provide overall leadership to open enrollment planning and deployment along with external vendors, HR Business Partners, and HR Shared Services
Oversees the Hay Grading process for new positions that are created, and for grading existing positions not yet graded
Coordinates annual merit process and bonus administration along with HR Shared Services and Business Partners
Designs and supports variable compensation plans
Other duties as assigned

Competencies

Financial Acumen-Understands the nature of compensation and its relation to total cost (including tax implications, benefits cost, etc.) and can provide meaningful analysis related to budget and external benchmarks.

HR Knowledge-Understands general HR policies and practices, with significant focus on compliance and best practices in the area of total rewards.

Education and Experience

Four-year degree in Business or Social Sciences and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2 + years of experience working specifically with compensation and benefits plan design
HR Generalist experience is a plus
Experience in an HR Shared Services environment is a plus
