Job Description

Gore Medical Products has provided creative therapeutic solutions to complex medical problems for 35 years, saving and improving the quality of lives worldwide. As a leading manufacturer of vascular grafts, endovascular and interventional devices, surgical meshes for hernia repair, and sutures, we are looking for an experienced Program/Project Manager to join our team in the Combination Products Platform in Flagstaff, AZ.

The ideal candidate will:

Responsibilities include:
Successfully manage projects cross functionally within the Combination Products Platform
Mentor platform associates with use of project management tools (Microsoft Project, Horizon Contracts)
Partner with project managers to implement best practices
Maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) relative to project/program effectiveness and benefits
Partner with Platform leadership to ensure all documentation relative to projects is current and available
Communicate project status, accomplishments, and resource constraints to Platform Leadership
Facilitate completion and review of common documentation (Intake form, Microsoft Project, Connections)
Apply elements of a broad and best practice toolkit / skill set to achieve desired results
Qualifications

Required Job Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years project management experience
Experience leading multiple, large, broad, and complex projects
Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication and computer (Microsoft Project, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) skills
Previous experience in a regulated environment
Demonstrated ability to effectively influence and facilitate teams and individuals without direct organizational authority
Experience incorporating change management principles and practices into project planning and execution
Ability to multi-task and lead multiple projects simultaneously
Proven ability to plan strategically and engage tactically to both develop the overall plan and work directly with the platform associates doing the hands-on implementation plan
Ability to quickly understand and consistently manage complexity and help clarify the truly important issues

Desired Job Qualifications:
BS degree in engineering, business or operations
Project Management degree or certification
Experience leading large and complex projects with significant business impact in a cross functional, global environment is preferred
Medical device, Pharmaceutical, or Combination Products (or similar regulated) industry experience
Continuous Improvement experience
Travel may be required for this position (potentially as much as 20% of time), but most likely to regional Gore facilities predominantly in Phoenix and Flagstaff)
