Consumer Lending

Wells Fargo Auto (WFA) has fast grown to become one of the largest auto-finance lenders in the nation, responsible for lending close to over $18B per year. Within Auto Technology, the Strategy and Administration team leads many of the critical components of successful technology delivery for the Auto business unit. This includes portfolio and capacity management, systems analysis, SDLC oversight, vendor management, financial tracking and business relationship management. This team also provides administrative support to the auto systems development teams.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team in a role as a Technology Manager 4.

A successful candidate in this role should demonstrate the following competencies:
Must have a strong understanding of systems analysis fundamentals.
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Strong technical acumen with the ability to function in a fast paced agile application development environment
Ability to multi-task and lead multiple complex initiatives with demanding timelines
Ability to build and maintain relationships with business and technology partners
As a Team Member Manager, you are expected to achieve success by leading yourself, your team, and the business. Specifically you will:
Lead your team with integrity and create an environment where your team members feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them.
Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing team members, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of technology experience
3+ years of leadership or management experience, in an IT environment
Desired Qualifications
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
Knowledge and understanding of Information Technology consulting in the financial services industry
Knowledge and understanding of auto policies and procedures
Knowledge and understanding of auto finance applications
Exposure to Wells Fargo AFS (Auto Finance System) Dealer Services application
Experience with Waterfall and Agile project methodologies
Strong relationship management skills
Other Desired Qualifications
BS/BA degree in Computer Science and/or related discipline
Job Expectations
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
