We are currently seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the TOLA region ( Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana ).Must be located near a major airport.

The candidate will execute sales strategy, initiate contact with existing and potential security customers, identify their Security, Threat and Vulnerability needs and sell our products to meet those needs. Typical competitors include: Rapid7, Tenable Security, FireEye, Qualys, Symantec, Mcafee and other threat intelligence platforms. SIEM experience will also be considered.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Generates and develops new business to meet specified production goals.
  • Maintains and nurtures existing client relationships.
  • Promotes company endorsed programs and services within assigned territory.
  • Meet and/or exceed predetermined Sales objectives and pipeline development objectives.
  • Manage all aspect of client relations. Be responsible for the complete sales cycle.
  • Responsible for reporting sales activity to Management in accordance with set requirements and tools.
  • Make recommendations where appropriate for: Sales (budgeting, forecasting and actuals) customer satisfaction, management objectives, and other measurable.
  • Negotiates contracts and work agreements.
  • Generates weekly, monthly and quarterly reports, tracking work as specified by manager.
  • Participates in important business/trade events that impact business unit.
  • Understanding of the IT Vulnerability, Threat security and Data Protection marketplace
  • Possesses thorough knowledge of competition
  • Possesses excellent organizational, problem resolution, consultative sales, verbal and written communication skills.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have spent a minimum of 5+ years selling IT Security software from the vendor perspective with both a well-established as well as early-stage software security vendors, bringing a strong, experience-based understanding of strategic account development.

Specific qualities sought after include:
  • BA/BS in technical or business discipline or equivalent experience.
  • A natural hunter with a proven successful Enterprise Sales experience exceeding targeted objectives.

  • Five years+ experience in senior sales positions within Technology, Security or similar environment.
  • IT Security Background/Knowledge necessary
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • 50% travel required within the region
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Proven leadership and business acumen skills.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to deal effectively with a variety of individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in person, on the phone, electronically, or through other means to individuals and groups.
  • Proven success in selling to big ticket End Users.
  • Able to effectively prepare, justify and communicate sales forecasting and deliver measurables.
