The Techline HR Coordinator is primarily responsible for facilitating the new hire process, overseeing the completion of new hire documents, and processing payroll for weekly employees. This role will also effectively manage job postings, listings, and ads using multiple platforms and coordinate the new hire process, providing seamless communication between candidates and supervisors when collecting new employee paperwork.
This job operates in a professional office environment, and has a regular schedule of 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday.
Role and Responsibilities
- Maintain physical and digital employee files and conduct routine file audits.
- Coordinate company philanthropic efforts and department celebrations.
- Always maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Manage job postings, edit/create job descriptions, schedule candidate interviews, and conduct phone screens.
- Assign and review new hire documents from candidates, including all state and federally-mandated forms.
- Coordinate completion and retention of tax forms, employment verification forms, and employee personnel files.
- Display high attention to detail reviewing documentation and making entries to HRIS.
- Participate in in-person and virtual onboarding activities.
- Prepare or maintain employment records related to events such as but not limited to: hiring, leaves, transfers, or promotions, or terminations using HRIS.
- Ensure all company branches meet state and federal regulatory standards.
- Process payroll accurately and timely for weekly employees, ensuring adherence to company policies, legal requirements, and payroll best practices.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Human Resources.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, or equivalent preferred.
- At least two (2) years of general human resource experience.
- Able to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, manage several projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
- General knowledge of recruiting best practices
- Experience working with an HRIS, ADP WorkForce Now (WFN) platform preferred
- Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent and professional interpersonal skills
- Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
Required Skills and Abilities
- Report in-person to a professional office daily as assigned
- Able to meet physical requirements such as but not limited to, standing, walking, bending, twisting, stooping, reaching, climbing ladders, cutting wire, lifting and maneuvering up 50 lbs. or more without assistance, and more.
Supervisory Responsibility
- This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
