Certified Sprinkler Mechanic and Safety Specialist (COF Holder, S12, S13)
We are currently seeking a Certified Sprinkler Mechanic and Safety Specialist with COF, S12, and S13 certifications to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and compliance of sprinkler systems in various settings.
Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough inspections, diagnosing system issues, performing repairs and upgrades, and ensuring all installations meet regulatory safety standards and operational requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair sprinkler systems according to plans, specifications, codes, and safety standards.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system functionality and safety compliance.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose system malfunctions, and implement effective solutions to restore proper operation.
- Conduct system tests and participate in commissioning activities to verify functionality and performance.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed, including documentation of inspections, tests, and repairs.
- Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
Requirements:
- COF, S12, and S13 certifications are required.
- Proven experience as a sprinkler mechanic or similar role, with a strong understanding of sprinkler system components and operations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and specifications.
- Solid knowledge of relevant codes, regulations, and safety guidelines (e.g., NFPA codes).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex system issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work at heights and in various environmental conditions.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record may be required.
