Creative Learning Center (A non public school servicing students K-12 with Autism and other similar neurological disorders) is interested is seeking additional credentialed Special Education Teachers and interns for our program in Redwood City, CA. A qualified candidate must have previous experience working with students with Autism. Applicant must love working with children, be willing to work collaboratively with others, be positive punctual and professional. Applicant must have experience with report writing or be willing to obtain training from supervisors. be able to develop and implement individualized curriculum with assistance from classroom staff and supervisors. Applicant will be attending IEP's, and writing lesson plans. The applicant must work collaboratively with a team of OT's, SLP's, BCBA's and supervisors. Applicant must also have experience with or managing classroom staff and work well with staff and parents.Intern Teachers will have support and training from credentialed supervisory teachers to assist with the required teacher duties.
Pay is competitive and position is full-time with medical, dental, vision, sick leave and 401K benefits. Additional benefits, can include, but are not limited to: Tuition Contribution, Continuing Education Contribution, Sign on Bonus, and/or $1000 stipend for Master's Degree.
Current California Education Specialist Credential.
Master's Degree is preferred OR intern student currently in a Special education program
Autism specific or related certificate preferred will be accepted if paired with another teaching credential
