The Promotions Manager is responsible for driving operational strategies and capabilities for pricing and promotions to support new and existing eCommerce and digital experiences. The Promotions Manager will partner with eCommerce Merchandising, eCommerce Marketing, Retail Pricing, IT, Guest Services as well as other areas to lead the effort to improve processes and drive enhancements that result in an excellent guest experience. This position is responsible for managing and developing a team of Promotions Specialists and contractors to provide the flawless execution of eCommerce promotions.
Lead and develop team of Promo specialists and contractors that execute promotions timely and accurately.
Manage/direct end to end deployment of marketing and promotions for Ulta.com drive profitable sales on Ulta.com.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners on major promotional campaigns to ensure alignment across teams.
Ensure timely and accurate deployment of and pricing changes from a site operational perspective.
Drive the effort to build new promotional capabilities to support digital experiences.
Develop new production processes and automate existing processes; troubleshoot production issues and work on special projects detailed from the eCommerce management team.
Aid in developing and executing promotions roadmap to implement and test new site features and improve the guest experience.
Lead and support web tool upgrades to ensure functionality, efficiencies, adequate testing and positive guest impact.
4+ years directly supporting promotions in an ecommerce channel.
Bachelor’s Degree required.
Proven ability to communicate across all levels of the organization, up to and including C-level.
Highly flexible dynamic personality with the ability to effectively interact with both non-technical and technical resources alike. The ability to translate technical jargon into business language is a must.
