Role
Parsec’s TrakSYS™ MES software application is a flexible, scalable, and powerful solution platform to help our clients address their complex manufacturing operations challenges. Many of the largest manufacturing companies worldwide use TrakSYS™ to improve their operational productivity.
As a Senior Software Developer, you will be expected to architect and develop the TrakSYS™ product, contributing to design, documentation, and testing.
Responsibilities
- Work with a team to design, document, develop and test our industry leading software platform.
- Continue growth with existing skill sets in relevant development technologies, as well as the TrakSYS™ platform and manufacturing industry.
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code.
- Participate in testing activities (creating and executing test cases).
- Assist the technical support team when troubleshooting potential application issues.
- Lead and mentor other developers within the team on ownership of products/problems/resource and technology solutions. Lead code reviews; provide constructive feedback to other developers in a positive manner.
- Model best practices in quality software engineering, including clean coding, strong design capabilities, correct use of unit testing, discipline in application health review and timely resolution of existing technical debt, prevention of new technical debt.
- Weigh the pros and cons of various technical approaches. Demonstrate ability to work across technical organizations to achieve consensus on a solution and drive to completion.
- Responsibility for specifically assigned features.
- Lead infrastructure design and conduct technical analysis of current infrastructure to make improvement recommendations.
- Plan and document technical specifications for features or system design.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Science, Engineering, Information Technology (or related)
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant software development experience
Technical Skills
- Microsoft .NET Development (C# .NET / ASP.NET)
- Microsoft SQL Server Development
- WEB Development (HTML, XML, and JavaScript)
- Windows Client and Server Operating Systems
- Experience working with SDLC tools such as Azure Dev Ops
