Part Time Samsung Electronics Sales and Experience Consultant

Job Purpose

We are looking for an experienced mobile salesperson to drive consumer sales of Samsung devices, including phones, tablets, wearables, and mobile computing during the 2019 holiday season with opportunity for extended work. Using device discovery and listening, our SEC’s match the customer with the right product to meet and exceed their needs. We have been providing Samsung sales and a 1:1 experience to customers for multiple years. Using your outgoing and knowledgeable personality you will build and maintain strong relationships to exceed client and customer expectations on behalf of Samsung.

Job Description

Conduct consumer facing activities - demonstrate key features of Samsung products, matching the correct device into the cart, assist customers with setup of their new devices, and support ongoing questions
Make a significant impact on sales and improve the customers' buying experience
Lead product training and knowledge transfer for sales reps to facilitate customer engagement and sales
Manage performance against established sales goals and engagement metrics
Build brand presence through interaction with retailer through merchandising, display maintenance and some POP and plan-o-gram compliance
Maintain knowledge of all client products in order to be a subject matter expert onsite
Demonstrate effective decision-making skills and the ability to reason and take action in resolving problems while exhibiting professional sound judgment
Complete shift data collection, paperwork, and on-going personal training in a timely manner, meeting all deadlines
Assist with calibrating and maintaining test equipment, perform minor repairs, replacement or calibration of equipment or initiate contract repair or replacement orders

Educate and share product feature and benefit information with customers
Exhibit an energetic and enthusiastic attitude and friendly and positive interpersonal communication skills
Understand the needs of different types of customers they will encounter.
Ability to setup customers' device based on their individual usage needs and interests

Qualifications

Must be tech-savvy and enjoy working with interactive technology gadgets
1 - 2 years of wireless and or/ pc retail sales and/or training experience is a plus
Experience working with a wireless carrier is a plus
Samsung device/Android knowledge preferable
Independent and motivated team player
Regular physical activity may be required, e.g., setting up promotional material/planogram changes
Ability to work a flexible Part Time retail schedule, typically between Wednesday to Sunday schedule, days/hours may vary
Must have ability to commute to assigned store and arrive on time for assigned shift(s)
Ability to stand comfortably for up to 8 hours a day
Daily access to a PC computer with internet/email access
Strong working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office

Duties and Responsibilities

Job Description:
Sell products and services in a retail store, kiosk, and/or event environments
Maintain professional interaction with both customers and fellow employees
Meet or exceed personal sales goals on a monthly basis
Courteously welcome customers and offer assistance
Direct customers by escorting them to displays; assess needs and suggests products to fit those needs
Advise customers by providing information on products and services
Help customers make selections by building customer confidence
Accurately document and report sales
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Responsible for accurately tracking and communicating all activity to Retail Operations
Ensure work station/kiosk is clean, well-organized, functional and presentable at all times
Responsible for submitting all paperwork completely and accurately

Performance Measurements:
Regular and prompt attendance
Meet established monthly/weekly sales quota/goals
Customer/client satisfaction based on rejection percentage and substantiated complaints

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Business degree preferred
Six (6) months prior sales, retail, telecom or marketing experience
Demonstrated knowledge of products and services
Excellent communications, presentation, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team environment
Ability to work flexible weekends including evenings, weekends and holidays
Ability to maintain customer confidentiality
