Description of program and training opportunities:

Wayside Lowell provides an array of in-home, community-based services designed to protect, preserve and reunify families. Services are delivered by a team of MA level clinicians, BA level Youth & Family Support Workers, and Family Partners. The services offered range from In-Home Family Therapy, Intensive Care Coordination, Family Support & Training and Therapeutic Mentoring. Treatment is generally intensive in nature and delivered using a strengths-based, resiliency-focused, wraparound philosophy.

Wayside Lowell staff work with clients referred from the local school system, Department of Children and Families, Department of Mental Health, and a variety of other community and mental health providers. Referrals to services are designed to address such issues as behavior management, mental health symptom management, crisis stabilization, family conflict, substance abuse, household management, parent education, access to resources and more. Using the Wraparound model, Undergraduate interns will collaborate with Wayside clinicians to assess the strengths and needs of youth and their families, assist with goal formulation and deliver therapeutic, evidence-based interventions.

Wayside is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer. Bi-Lingual, Bi-Cultural, & LGBTQ Applicants Strongly Encouraged to Apply!
