About the Role
Excited to grow love for JBL, AKG, and other world-class brands? As part of the Global Brand team, the Global Marketing Manager will work across the Profession Business Unit and regional marketing to help develop the strategy, planning, and execution of global marketing campaigns and launches for the Professional Division. You’ll work closely with regional marketing teams to drive global alignment and implement improved processes.
What You Will Do
Work with Business Unit and Regional Marketing to help develop the strategy, planning, and execution of global marketing campaigns and launches for the Professional Division. Apply key insights gained from research/analysis of competitive landscape, market trends, and consumer data into effective marketing strategies
Create and oversee global marketing campaigns by collaborating with the creative and product development teams to ensure the campaigns are executed on time, on goal and on budget
Develop and implement reliable and repeatable processes to optimize the efficiency of campaigns, content and approvals. Drive consistency of all strategic and creative documents and processes by leading conversations to align cross functional teams.
Work with Product Development team to ensure each NPI has clearly articulated value propositions, product offerings, market segmentation and positioning strategy. With regional nuances incorporated
Support the Sr Director in the development of global marketing priorities, working closely with the regions to understand local priorities and local needs to deliver against the division’s business plan
Determine, develop and drive short and long-term execution of marketing and communications plans for multiple market segments and deliver reports for evaluation.
What You Need
BS/BA degree in Marketing or equivalent
Experience in strategy development
Five+ years of experience in a marketing strategy related role
Self-motivated, able to work independently and in a team, with the ability to drive production and meet deadlines
Excellent analytical and communications skills, oral and written
What is Nice to Have
Experience with professional audio, visual or lighting a plus
Strong skillset using Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook); strong computer proficiency, and web conferencing (ex. GoToMeeting, Skype, Zoom.us, etc.).
Ability to display a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
