SUMMARY: Under the direction of Human Resources Management, the Recruiting Specialist is responsible for providing the highest level of staffing services to Residential. This position delivers high quality professional level candidates, while guiding and communicating with hiring managers and candidates throughout the selection process. This individual will perform full cycle recruiting and maintain excellent relations with including, but not limited to; managers and candidates. A wide degree of creativity, short and long-term recruiting vision, business understanding, and personal organization are required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

Review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements.
Provide complete, accurate, and inspiring information to candidates about the company and position.
Prescreens candidates when necessary.
Manages and coordinates all communication with candidates (full-cycle recruitment process). Keeping candidates engaged.
Interviews all qualified candidates presented for open positions for detailed interviewing, including the use of face-to-face standard interview questionnaires.
Manages the scheduling and logistics of all interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
Prepares candidates for interviewing with Residential and specific hiring managers by providing detailed information on the company, our business strategy, department background, job descriptions, and expectation-setting.
Organizes, leads and documents post-interview debrief/feedback and post-mortems with interview teams and candidates.
Extends offers of employment to selected candidates within the guidelines of the Residential compensation policy.
Manages the presentation, selection, offer, negotiation, closing, and administrative components involved in full lifecycle recruiting.
May conduct follow-up calls/surveys and quality-improvement studies with hiring managers and new hires.
Maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring managers interactions, and other recruiting activities to ensure a safe and thorough audit if required.
Initiates and maintains excellent working relations within the Residential Human Resources organization to ensure the most up to date information is communicated to potential recruits.
Uses effective communication approaches that include proactively keeping others informed, appropriately expressing ideas and thoughts verbally and in written form, and timeliness.
Visits all hiring-manager departments to develop a thorough understanding of the department culture and uses that understanding to help candidates fully understand the opportunity.
Participates in the development of ongoing creative and cost-effective sourcing strategies.
Develops an effective pipeline of key talent potentially available for immediate hire as succession planning needs dictate.
Stays informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to be competitive in state-of-the-Art recruiting practices.
Manages openings on job boards and conducts sourcing via Linkedin, company database (Applicant Tracking System) and other forms of social media.
Update various staffing reports, i.e.; new hire report, recruitment summary, open jobs, etc.
May assist with employee status changes and development or updating of job descriptions.
Other duties as needed by Human Resources Management.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Associate Degree, Bachelor's Degree preferred or 4+ years of experience
Experience in recruitment of clinical talent (nursing and therapy) preferred.
Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of recruiting experience.
Human Resources experience preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must have and maintain a valid Michigan Driver's License, maintain automobile insurance coverage and have access to a reliable automobile.
