Electronic Systems (ES), headquartered in Arlington, Texas, is one of four L3 business segments, and provides a broad range of components, products, subsystems, systems and related services for military and commercial customers. We are searching for an EM Assembler.

This position is responsible for the assembly, sub-assembly, final assembly of product or to perform such other tasks as required in the production area. Duties to include, but not limited to, the subassembly, assembly, or rework, use of common hand tools and all/some of the following other tools: Crimping tools, impact wrenches, strippers, drill motors, battery powered tools, torque wrenches, band saw, and belt sander. This position entails both mechanical/electrical assembly. Requires sufficient education and skills to read and interpret work instructions and/or blue prints, assemble, install parts, components, hardware, wiring, or prepares unit for further assembly. Training will be required for all/some of the following: Crane, forklift, Fluke Meter, Jigs. Must be able to follow and understand all rules of EH&S, Quality, DCMA, OSHA, and MSDS. Must maintain a clean and safe work environment. Must be able to communicate with team members for the efficient and quality production of each unit, be able to work overtime at a short notice, including Saturdays/Sundays. Must be able to maintain production standards. Other duties may include: Sanding, painting, warehouse, cleaning, inspection, stamping, silk screen, commercial jobs, moving items, counting parts, etc. It is a first shift position with working hours of 6:00am-3:30pm. Work schedule is 9/80 with every other Friday off. Hours for a working Friday are 7:30 am - 4:00 pm.

Qualifications

Required: High School diploma or equivalent. Must have at least 6 months of assembly experience, be able to read blueprints, have knowledge of hand tools, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, bend, kneel, or stoop, work from a stepladder.

The successful candidate will be based in the Electronic Systems business unit, in theTulsa, OK area. A competitive market-based compensation package, commensurate with the responsibilities and experience requirements will be provided.
