The CSU-Global ETL Developer will provide ETL administration and development for the integration of data to various operational applications. As a part of our Technology team, this role will be responsible for developing and populating our information systems from a variety of internal and external sources. This full-time position will reside in our Greenwood Village, CO office and report to the Manager, Software Development.

Job Duties/Performance Objectives:
The CSU-Global ETL Developer will provide ETL administration and development for the integration of data to various operational applications. As a part of our Technology team, this role will be responsible for developing and populating our information systems from a variety of internal and external sources. This full-time position will reside in our Greenwood Village, CO office and report to the Manager, Software Development.

Create and document ETL designs based on requirement documentation and meetings
Build, test and deploy ETL processes
Troubleshoot errors during development, test and deploy phases
Respond ETL integration service tickets
Monitor loads to ensure successful completion
Perform advanced ETL development activities that include Design, Develop and Deploy the ETL processes, using Talend for system integration
Follow established standards and best practices and provide input for improvement of those processes
Create and manage daily, weekly, and monthly data operations and schedule processes
Develop and implement the error handling strategy for ETL
Perform bug fixing, troubleshooting and assist user support
Create, update and maintain project documents including (but not limited to): business requirements, functional and non-functional requirements, functional and technical design, data mapping, etc.
Optimize ETL performance
Provide Talend ETL and SQL Server Administration and perform upgrades
Evaluate and understand a variety of modeling and/or diagramming techniques, create process flow diagrams and read data flow and entity relationship models
Analyze the data structures, develop data mappings, document the ETL system design and communicate the same with the Business SMEs/Analysts

Qualifications

Experience & Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited university
At least four years of experience writing complex SQL Queries using MySQL, SQL Server
Expertise writing code (Java and C#) that leverages API Web Services (REST & SOAP) from transactional systems to support data integration
Hands-on expertise using industry standard ETL tools (Talend, Pentaho, SSIS) creating complex multi-source (3 to 5) data extractions for data integration between transactional systems
One year of experience with Talend preferred
One year of Salesforce.com API (REST & SOAP) experience preferred
