Job Summary :
The person hired for the position of Inventory Control Material Handler will be responsible for supporting a total manufacturing environment including shipping, receiving, cycle counting, keying of inventory transactions into computer system. We have multiple shifts available.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Reads work order or follows oral instructions to move material where needed
Loads, unloads and opens containers onto or from pallets, trays, racks and shelves by hand, pallet jack or forklift.
Conveys material from storage or work sites to designated area
Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases or other containers
Cycle counting when required
Other duties as assigned
This position will require:
Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher
One (1) year of experience in a manufacturing environment
Possess a current and valid Forklift Certification
Experience operating both a sit down and stand up fork-lift
Experience with SAP
Warehouse experience in the areas of shipping and receiving
Experience performing cycle counts in a manufacturing facility and/or warehouse
Basic computer knowledge
