As 8THIRTYFOUR’s digital specialist, you’ll be responsible for building and managing digital campaigns, completing routine website edits and maintenance, creating digital strategies, and more. You need to be comfortable pushing back on clients and team when necessary to maintain accountability. We don’t pass the monkey here.
You’re a jack of all trades, you are a strategist, writer, podcaster, blogger, digital wiz, cat herder and time management ninja. If you’re not organized and creative, no need to apply. If you take yourself too seriously, you’ll have a hard time participating in our office water gun fights or yearly retreats.
Duties:
- Digital Marketing: You gotta know the Google. We are a digital firm and this position loves digital advertising. Search, Display, Meta—you get the idea. You know your sh*t. You’re up to date on all the changes Alphabet and Zuckerberg throw our way.
- Website Development: We build websites, and you’ll need to be ready to jump in and get your hands dirty. You’ll need to be confident on the back end of a site, from editing pages to updating the base platform, and more. We don’t expect you to be fluent in HTML, JS, or CSS, but familiarity is a plus!
- Social Media: Mark Zuckerburg has nothing on you. You love social media, and think strategically when writing, researching and drafting compelling content while executing successful social advertising campaigns.
- Email Newsletters: You know email is far from dead. You’ve built, sent, and monitored a wide variety of email campaigns. From drip to product drop, you’ve got it on lock. You’re familiar with best practices, and you aren’t afraid to try something new.
- Strategy: We have a tried-and-true strategy process; it’s been written about in books (it was our book). You’ll help research, analyze and develop client digital strategies then turn around and implement the hell out of them. You also need to be able to think about everything strategically. Yes, we really mean everything. This skill comes in handy when have our team Werewolf games (Google it).
- Content Creation: Your excellent research and written skills will contribute on-brand content that supports the strategy and goals of the piece or campaign. Tasks will include proofreading, copywriting, competitive research and more.
Skills:
- Strong organization and prioritization skills
- Proficiency with Google Analytics and web analysis tools
- Experience with building, maintaining, launching and Google Ads
- Experience with building, maintaining, launching and Meta Ads
- Experience with maintaining and editing websites
- Proficiency with MailChimp, Constant Contact, or another newsletter client
- Proficiency with WordPress
- Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Experience with Salesforce or HubSpot is a plus
