We are currently seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Configuration/Release Manager to join our team in Reston, VA to begin an exciting and challenging career with Unisys Federal Systems.

Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities:
In this role you will be responsible for the Release Management lifecycle which includes scheduling, coordinating and the management of releases for multiple applications. The releases can be inclusive of application updates, operating system patches, security improvements, hardware upgrades, and other projects. Where necessary, provides tools and services to help product management and project teams manage and deploy releases into production. Responsible for implementing and managing release processes for code through development, test, and production environments. Works collaboratively with all participants in software development projects and is supportive of developers and testers as they set up their build dev/test environments. Also works with IT management and QA to improve the software engineering processes and practices associated with continuously building, deploying, and updating software and environments.


Position Requirements:

Experience supporting software/application development projects as a Configuration or Release Manager in an Agile development model

Education/Experience: Bachelors degree and 8 years experience. At lease three (3) years of direct IT software developmnet, maintenance of large scale databases. Has experience in development and Operations and Maintenance of large scale databases..

Preferred: Three (3) years of experience supporting TSA or other DHS agency with an active public trust clearance.

Experience with IBM RTC

Experience with Atlassian

Experience with supporting Agile development

Experience with Defect Tracking

Experience with supporting development CCB

Experience with deploying CM builds

Experience supporting development through Release management

Experience with writing installation procedures
